Even if your emotions leave you drained, overwhelmed, and stuck binging Netflix in bed. Even if you struggle to communicate with and feel resentful towards your most important and valued relationships.
Even if you feel uncomfortable in your clothes, in front of your bedroom mirror, and around the dinner table.
You have the power to decide how you want to move forward with your life. You might just need a little help—and that’s exactly what we do.
We’re here to get to know you on a human-to-human level, hear your ideas and worries, and encourage you to explore scary places and do hard things. We believe in you—even when you don’t believe in yourself.
Parallel Wellness is happy to collaborate with your doctor, dietitian, or other medical professional.

Help us get to know you better by filling out our intake form. This will also help you start thinking about what you’d like to share in your first session.
Attend your first virtual or in-person counselling session and meet your counsellor. Expect to discuss what brings you to counselling and your goals. Your counsellor will also gather information about your personal history and presenting concerns.
In subsequent sessions, you and your counsellor will work together to explore your concerns, practice strategies to improve your mental health and create a plan to achieve your goals.
*Please note that all online counselling sessions are also subject to our 24-hour cancellation policy. We reserve the right to charge in full for non-emergency cancellations.
If you must cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, please contact your counsellor directly. Our office telephone and email are only checked during Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5pm business hours. Cancellations not communicated directly to your counsellor will be considered a no-show.
We share our insights on common concerns we hear in our practice—from anxiety and depression to eating disorders and relationships.
