Registered Clinical Counsellor

Alyssa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of
Clinical Counsellors (BCACC – #20364). She has Masters of Counselling
degree from City University of Seattle and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia.

Alyssa has worked in the public and private sector offering mental health support to adults, youth and families over the past decade. Offering a grounded and gentle presence, Alyssa aims to provide clients with a comfortable space to explore their inner and outer world with curiosity and non-judgement.

Alyssa’s approach is holistic and integrative in nature, inviting the
mind, body and spirit into the process of change and healing. She
believes that counselling is best tailored to suit the needs of the
individual and will work with you to establish a therapeutic plan that
honours and respects your identity and history.

Alyssa supports clients with  anxiety, low mood/depression, grief, trauma, stress management and, in general life’s ups and downs. Her style is collaborative, drawing on your own inner strengths while also offering evidence based practices you can begin to utilize right away to increase confidence and courage to live the life you seek.

Alyssa offers counselling in person or online to individuals (adults and
adolescents 13+) and couples.

Alyssa is available in person at the North Vancouver office on Wednesday’s from 2pm-6pm and in the North Burnaby office on Friday’s from 2pm-6pm. Alyssa can also be booked for an online session at any of these times.
